Robin Hutchinson
Research: Improving industrial polymerization processes and contribute to the design of new polymeric materials by developing a deeper understanding of radical polymerization kinetics and capturing that knowledge in modelling tools.
Department of Chemical Engineering, McMaster University, Canada
Todd Hoare
Research: Rational design of “smart” hydrogel-based materials on different length scales for applications including drug delivery, cell encapsulation, biomedical devices, biosensors, tissue engineering, food, nutraceutical delivery, agricultural, and environmental applications.

Parisa Mehrkhodavandi
Research: Develop “green” polymers that are either derived from biorenewable sources and/or are biodegradable in composts, in the oceans, or in the human body. Two major thrusts: 1) Catalyst development, with a special focus on control of structure function relationship, and 2) Synthesis and characterization of new families of bio-based / biodegradable / green polymers.
